We are have teams up with a local SaaS business to recruit a Business Development Representative to drive sales and growth for Your role will be to:

  • Obtain an in-depth knowledge of the products and the markets in which our clinet operate in order to have valuable conversations with clients
  • Act as the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each individual prospect moving forward
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with your personal book of clients through regular contact and impeccable customer services
  • Schedule qualified calls and meetings with prospects, introducing these new leads to the senior sales team
  • The business offers excellent scope for progression with the potential to move into senior roles and lead teams


To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas, or you may have been a recruitment consultant.

You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationshipswith customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service.

Responsibilities:


  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build longterm trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and CEO
  • Report to the CEO on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Requirements and skills:


  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or Recruitment Consultant used to speaking with large companies
  • Handson experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analysing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations and ability to write customer proposals
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
