Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Administrator - Customer service professional for a key client of ours based in Fareham, Hampshire.

This will be a permanent role to start ASAP. The post holder will be working for an innovative manufacturing company.
The role will involve supporting the Project Support team with various tasks for planning upcoming projects.

This will include but not limited to purchasing, logistics & shipping, resourcing & travel booking, warehouse operations and other general administrativetasks.


Overview of this Administrator - Customer Service role:

  • Raising high volume of purchase orders accurately
  • Liaising with stakeholders and updating them on progress of deliveries
  • Updating and monitoring system products and processes
  • Source and book required labour as well as making travel and accommodation bookings for projects and the wider business
  • Carry out operational and support based duties on project sites at peak times for the business
  • Provide support to warehouse operations including but not limited to goods in, project returns processing, weekly cycle counts of inventory and portable appliance testing (PAT) of company tools
  • Attend and contribute to project and department progress meeting
  • To provide cover for the wider Project Support team within their specialist roles during period of holiday, sickness, and peak periods of business activity
  • Carry out general support and administration including any other adhoc task as directed by your line manager or designee

Person Specification:

  • Proficient IT and numeracy skills
  • Willing to improve and develop new skills
  • Strong relationship builder as you will be working with all levels of the business
  • Strong planning, time management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced and highly pressurized environment during peak times

Experience required:

  • Customer Service (minimum 1 year experience) Highly desirable
