Are you an experienced Contracts Manager looking for a new opportunity?

Our clients, a Design and Build Contractors who work on high-end residential, new builds and commercial fit-outs, are currently looking for a Contracts Manager on a short-term contract basis to work on-site in the Harringay area, therefore, being able tocommute there every day to be considered.

This position is initially working until October 2023, but this may develop into full-time employment on other projects.

Working hours:

Monday
Friday 7:30am 4:30pm

The successful Contracts Manager will be offered:

£55,000
£65,000 pro rata
20 days holiday + bank holidays, time off over Christmas and a day off for your birthday.

Contracts Manager requirements:

Previous experience in the same role
CSCS card
Excellent IT skills
Experience in New Builds and schools
DBS checked
Full UK licence and use of own vehicle

As a Contracts Manager, your role will involve:

Preparing tenders for clients
Developing and presenting project proposals
Meeting with clients
Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales
Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts
Agreeing budgets and timescales
Managing construction schedules and budgets
Dealing with any unexpected costs
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers
Working with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities
Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards
Liaising with technical and financial staff, subcontractors, legal teams and the client's own representatives
Overseeing invoicing at the end of a project
