Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to join our team.

As an IT Security Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our organization's computer systems and networks.

This is a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets.


Duties:

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard the organization's data and systems
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate actions
• Monitor network traffic for potential security breaches and respond to incidents in a timely manner
• Manage and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Provide guidance and support to endusers on securityrelated issues
• Stay uptodate with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) concepts and implementation
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems and security configurations
• Experience with incident management processes and tools
• Familiarity with PaaS (Platform as a Service) security considerations
• Knowledge of software deployment methodologies and best practices
• Understanding of CentOS Linux distribution and its security features
• Familiarity with saponify automation framework for managing infrastructure as code
• Proficient in OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) routing protocol for secure network communication
• Knowledge of IPsec (Internet Protocol Security) protocols for securing network connections
• Experience working with APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for integrating security solutions

Salary:
£37,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
