Description
SF Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer for our Nottingham based client. This is a full time permanent role with a salary up to £45,000.


Reporting to the Buying Director his is a great opportunity for somebody looking for a chance to progress with a fantastic company.


Main Duties:

  • Developing new products across multiple existing categories
  • Supplier visits within the UK and abroad
  • Monitoring the performance of new products and liaising closely with Supply Chain to ensure sufficient stock coverage
  • Working closely with other departments including Technology, Quality Control and Sustainability to ensure new products meet the needs of the wider business.
  • Creating KPI reports for the senior management team
Essential

  • Previous Purchasing Experience within Furniture or Home Furnishings is essential
  • Excellent MRP and computer skills
  • Overseas Sourcing
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience liaising with Asia
