Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 3 staff and create a culture of collaboration, excellence and professional growth.
- Ensure timely expense processing and up to date master data maintenance
- Ensure system development based on requirements and own and external improvement suggestions
- Ensure training for end users for globally, mainly SAP based systems and tools
- Increase efficiency and quality of processes by leveraging system capabilities and implementation of system based process & control improvements combined with enhancement of automated procedures
- Actively work with the Commercial Reporting team to support the expense reporting requirements as well as with the Finance transformation team to ensure continuous improvement in system usage
- Build strong relationships within Finance & Actuarial, IT and underwriting colleagues to maintain and improve the quality of cost centre structure and expense capturing
- Assist Head of Finance Operations to adapt to and implement changes and develop the Finance team
- Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers/policyholders.
- Work with other areas of finance to maintain cost centre structure and implement any changes needed
- Demonstrated organisation skills including team and time management
- Proven meaningful process standardization and automation
- Detailed knowledge of expenses processing
- SAP based system knowledge preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- University Degree and/or relevant professional qualification
