Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 3 staff and create a culture of collaboration, excellence and professional growth.
  • Ensure timely expense processing and up to date master data maintenance
  • Ensure system development based on requirements and own and external improvement suggestions
  • Ensure training for end users for globally, mainly SAP based systems and tools
  • Increase efficiency and quality of processes by leveraging system capabilities and implementation of system based process & control improvements combined with enhancement of automated procedures
  • Actively work with the Commercial Reporting team to support the expense reporting requirements as well as with the Finance transformation team to ensure continuous improvement in system usage
  • Build strong relationships within Finance & Actuarial, IT and underwriting colleagues to maintain and improve the quality of cost centre structure and expense capturing
  • Assist Head of Finance Operations to adapt to and implement changes and develop the Finance team
  • Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers/policyholders.
  • Work with other areas of finance to maintain cost centre structure and implement any changes needed
To be successful in this role, you'll need to:

  • Demonstrated organisation skills including team and time management
  • Proven meaningful process standardization and automation
  • Detailed knowledge of expenses processing
  • SAP based system knowledge preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • University Degree and/or relevant professional qualification
