Horticulture Tutor (SEN School) - Immediate Start - In Staines TW18


Our client is a small, dynamic UK registered Charity, working to improve the employability of disadvantaged 16-25-year-olds through practical training in Horticulture and Catering.

This role will be extremely rewarding, you will be supporting a team of TeachingAssistants and work closely with the Head of the Department to deliver and support high-quality and interactive provision.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Work with pupils, understanding how to motivate and encourage them to achieve and develop.
  • To be responsible for the supervision of pupils and support staff during curriculum delivery.
  • To develop for approval programmes of skills development, in accordance with the objectives of the
- curriculum activity.

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate sessions which are personalised and differentiated to meet individual pupil
- needs and which adopt specialist approaches where necessary

  • Contribute data for the assessment, tracking and reports of individual pupils.
  • Undertake risk assessment for planned activities and ensure the safeguarding of participants
  • To record and report any injuries or accidents.
  • Establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high
  • Expectations

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION

  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have legal right to work in the UK
  • You must be willing to attend a registration interview
