Our client is a market leading heavy maufacturing company with a large plant based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

The company are looking to recruit an operator with quality inspector to work on a long term basis with a view to this role becoming permanent with the buisness.

Responsibilities will include both measuring and visual inspection of metal components and assemblies.

Experience required as below:
Able to follow inspection check sheets and enter clear legible results.

Ideallyknowledge and experience of inspection processes and equipment (measuring devices e.g, flexible tape, steel rule, Verniers, thread gauges).

Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment such as press metal, automotive, yellow goods industry would be preferred.

Rate of pay for this job is £11.26 per hour.

Hours of work are 7am - 5:15pm Monday - Thursday.

Start date will be first week in January.
