About Us:

NBV Enterprise Solutions is a non-for-profit enterprise agency providing advice and training for individuals considering setting up in business, mentoring support for early-stage businesses and tenancy solutions for small businesses both physical and virtual.

Due to an enhancement of an existing contract, we are seeking:

Business Start Up Adviser - £40k pa - Nottingham City

Fixed Term 1st April 2024 until March 2025 (geographically located)
We are looking for a high calibre start up business adviser able to provide relevant and tailored information, advice and support to individuals seeking to start a business and early-stage businesses to survive, grow and everything in-between

Key responsibilities include:

Conduct indepth consultations with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
Develop customised business plans, strategies, and action plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
Provide expert advice on various aspects of starting and running a business including market research, product development, marketing, finance, and operations.
Mentor and coach small business owners to help them build essential skills, confidence, and resilience.

Requirements:

Proven experience in startup advisory, business consulting, or related fields.
Strong understanding of entrepreneurship, business strategy, and startup ecosystem.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Passion for helping entrepreneurs succeed and making a positive impact on their businesses and communities.
