Solihull, Castle Bromwich, EMC Wolverhampton, Halewood (can be primarily based at either site but some travel will be required)
**Rate:
- up to £33.15/hr LTD umbrella**
Position Description:This opportunity is for a Business Process Analyst in the Manufacturing Business Office 'Manufacturing Transformation' team.
The Business Analyst is a key part member of our Transformation team with the following key responsibilities:
- Working with Data Analysts, SME's, Process Owners and Plant Operations to radically eliminate waste from the Manufacturing Operation.
- Support and deliver operational processes of Plan to Deliver (Manufacturing), ensuring deliverables meet strategic objectives of the area.
- Work on operational processes by supporting stakeholders in ensuring processes achieve efficiencies.
- Looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency
- Alignment with key stakeholders on business value creation.
- Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports / comparing to operational goals
- Gather and understand business requirements and business priorities.
- Help teams get answers / connection they need.
- Facilitate the processes related to the completion of tasks and the identification of dependencies with other teams.
- Collaborate with internal customers to transform ways of working.
- Challenge business stakeholders to think in an evolutionary manner.
- Support business initiatives utilizing Project Management expertise
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
- Serve as the conduit between the business units/departments, Manufacturing Business Office and the wider Transformation team.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Understanding of the endtoend manufacturing processes
Scientific, attitude:
caring about evidence and willingness to change beliefs based on new evidence
- Relevant previous experience in Business Processes
- Understanding of the endtoend manufacturing processes
- Experience of collaboration cross functional team working
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- A friendly, communicative, selforganised individual.
- Strong presentation creation and presenting to a senior audience
Scientific, attitude:
caring about evidence and willingness to change beliefs based on new evidence
- Sets high standards for written materials and diligently follows them personally and holds others to account to achieve
- Understanding of financials cost benefits analyses
- Good understanding of project management lifecycle
Preferred:
- Working experience in an operational / manufacturing business (preferably automotive)
- Advanced knowledge of key business systems and processes, e.g. quality tools and techniques IT skills
Education
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
