I am currently recruiting for a Customer Product Coordinator for one of my clients in the Newport area. This is a great opportunity to join a established company as part of their research and development service team. There are routes for progression withinthis role with training and development provided by the company.


The Company:
Our client is a highly successful materials manufacturing business. They have been experiencing strong levels of growth over the past few years.

Due to a recent retiree they are seeking an experienced Customer Product Coordinatoror a Customer Service specialist with knowledge in product or materials development.


The Role:
A customer focused role within the Research and Development team assisting with new order creation.

You will be assisting customers and liaising with the R&D team and product developers to provide solutions from concept to launch.


Responsibilities include:

  • General admin order placement
  • Introduce customer concepts to developers
  • Assist the running of customer manufacturing projects
  • Become a product expert
  • CRM use
  • Manage site stock
  • Quote and estimate time scales to customers concept to launch
The hours of work are Monday - Friday during the day, however it is run on a split shift.

Week one: 8am

  • 3.30pm (30 minutes lunch)
Week two: 9am

  • 4.30pm (30 minutes lunch)
  • Previous customer service experience with knowledge of product/project coordination and development
  • Multitasking ability
  • Ability to effectively communicate using various channels
  • Manufacturing or Materials background

The Benefits:


  • Salary £26,500
  • 25 days + 8 bank holidays
  • 4.5% matched pension (9% total)
