This is an opportunity for an ambitious Marketing Manager to step into a Head of Marketing Communications role within a growing Academy Trust.

This is a successful group of twenty-five academies, serving a wide range of communities across the East Midlandsand South Yorkshire.

This is a new role to the organisation and offers a unique opportunity to develop the marketing and communications strategy and build a new marketing team as they enter an exciting period of organisational growth.

The new Head of Marketing and Communications will lead on the strategic development and practical implementation of an integrated Marketing and Communications strategy.

This role represents an exciting opportunity to be part of something special, developingand supporting the Trust and playing a significant role in delivering stakeholder engagement strategy, brand management, internal and digital engagement, internal communications, media relations and external communications.

You will have up to date knowledge of the marketing mix, including branding, marketing, collateral and digital marketing communications projects.

From a digital perspective, it would be helpful to have knowledge of best practice in digital marketing, webdesign, user experience and social media.

You will have outstanding copywriting skills and the ability to write a wide range of compelling, accurate and engaging copy on and offline.

This will come hand in hand with excellent proof-reading skills with strong attention to detail.

Experience managing external agencies and working within brand guidelines, acting as a brand custodian for any communications activity will also be a significant part of this job.

This organisation has fully embraced Hybrid working in their central team and you will have the option to work from home the majority of the week.

Office space is available in Nottingham, Derby, Lincoln and South Yorkshire, so this job could easily be workedfrom any of these regions.
