Senior C#.NET Developer

Our client, a global investment bank based in the City are currently looking for a
Senior C#.Net Developer to join their Derivatives and Commodities trading team.

This will be covering all activities related to sales and trading for the bank.

The cluster forms a major part of a new agile organization bringing together Business and IT to transform the capacity to deliver software.

Focus is given on driving technologies and understanding business needs to achieve the company's objectives.

Provide IT development for and delivery to the Commodities business:

  • Extend IT system functionality for Commodity OTC Products (Pre-Trade and Regulatory Reporting)
  • Assist 1st and 2nd line support it problem resolution.
  • Work closely with existing Dev Team who are based in the UK and Europe.
  • Work with other team members to deliver business value via frequent, regular Sprints.
  • Develop fullstack solutions user interface, business logic, services and data layer.
  • Liaising directly with Front Office when required.

  • Solid experience of C# development utilising the standard Microsoft stack (WPF, WinForms, WCF, Entity Framework, SQL Server).
  • Experience with memoryresident cashing is highly advantageous.
  • Able to work in a team and exchange and discuss complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Banking experience is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills both written & spoken;
  • Selfmotivated, proactive and independent person;
  • Knowledge and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment;

Would be partly working remotely to the rest of the team and the business so should be comfortable having regular (daily) contact via video calls.
