Head Kitchen Porter

Monday to Friday, 40 hour contract, South Bermondsey, £28,080 per annum


We currently have an opportunity for an energetic and proactive Head Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team at our production kitchen, and assist with ensuring the kitchen is running smoothly and is clean, safe and hygienic at all times.


Our Head Kitchen Porter will be responsible for organising the pot wash area, loading the dishwashers, helping to put away and store deliveries, clean the kitchen equipment and supervise the kitchen porters team.

The position is Monday to Friday working 40 hours a week. The shift pattern will vary each week.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working in a similar role
  • Is friendly and enthusiastic
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Good level of English speaking and writing
  • Able to take direction and use own initiative
  • Willing to help wherever needed and isn't afraid to get stuck in
