Wellbeing Practitioner for WISHH
Salary scale:
£11.87 per hour increasing to £12.63 on successful completion of a probationary period.
Contract:
Fixed Term to 30st April 2024
Hours: 12 hrs per week: Tuesday 14:00-18:00 (Saltaire clinic)
Wednesday 14:00-18:00 (Idle clinic)
Friday 14:00-18:00 (Windhill clinic)

Purpose of the post:
This is an exciting and energetic role for hardworking individual who is passionate about providing great quality mental health care and support within a rewarding face-to-face environment.
There is a growing need for mental health support in this service and is recognised as a valuable offer within the GP surgeries due to an increase in referrals and high demand.
The variety of this role will keep things fresh and stimulating whilst being part of a supportive and innovative team.
You will complete 1-1 appointments with those aged 11+ who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues and are registered at Idle, Windhill and Saltaire Medical Practice.
The role consists of listening to clients' worries, offering support, and signposting clients to further support services available in the Bradford District.
This exciting role sits within our WISHH Service providing three 4-hour clinics.

Friday 14:00-18:00 (Windhill clinic)**This exciting role will appeal to those who have some experience of working in a mental health setting with young people or adults, and are able to work both independently and as part of an innovative team.
You should be passionate about encouraging clients to achieve positive changes in their lives, and have an understanding of the current challenges those with mental health needs may face.
It is expected that you will have an understanding of other signposting organisations across the Bradford District that can support our clients.
