We have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Person to join our team at our Berkhamsted site.

The quality of the products we produce are of the highest importance to us and ensures our customers can purchase the right product at the right price.

The shipping of our products is the major factor that ensures items are delivered to our customer in a safe manner and meeting our high standards of expected customer satisfaction.

Assemblies are intricate for us to manufacture so making sure they arrive at the customer in the manner they left our offices is imperative.

Industrial magnets come in all sizes and strengths and the warehouse team are those who make sure orders are safely packed and can be handled in the correct way by the end user.

Our office in Berkhamsted is also the distribution centre for our E-commerce platform, E-Magnets therefore you will be preparing orders for dispatch and will work with our customer services team to ensure that all orders are fulfilled and accurately shipped to the customer in a timely manner.

You will also be responsible for unloading and accurately storing all goods received in from our partners and will be confident in booking deliveries with couriers for items that need to be shipped.

You will assist with stocktaking and inventory control activities, including conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies as well as monitoring stock levels and reporting low stock to management on an ongoing basis.

You will have a good working knowledge and understanding of health and safety practices and a fork lift truck certification is highly desirable.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• GCSE in English and Maths is essential
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment preferred but not essential
• Full driving license preferably
• Fork Lift Truck Certificate is desirable
• Good Health & Safety knowledge is essential
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling goods and recording information is essential
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and physically demanding role is essential
• Experience of stocktaking processes is essential

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team is a must

£23,800.00-£25,000.00 per year
