About Us
Active Ways are looking to recruit an enthusiastic coach to join our already dedicated & talented team. We are looking for a part time multi-sport coach to deliver breakfast, lunchtimes activities, intervention sessions and afterschool clubs. Along with occasional P.E lessons and school holiday camps throughout the year.

Active ways is an established company founded in 2017 based in Derbyshire East Midlands.

Active Ways offers a wide range of sports and services designed to give children the best possible sports education and coaching, plus much more We ensure to create a refreshing, fun and active environment for everyone who attends Active Ways.

Our Active Ways team consists of highly qualified sports coaches, teachers and school sport professionals. We are devoted to providing added value to schools through the services we provide.

Qualifications and Requirements
Work on a self employed basis

Previous coaching experience in a school/ education environment or similar sports setting

Applicants would also require an up to date DBS Certificate (preferred but can be obtained by the company)

First Aid training (preferred but can be achieved within the company)

Driving licence (preferred)

Schedule
Day shifts (Monday

Friday) 5 hours per week, potential to increase hours moving forward

Additional hours during school holiday camps

Travel expenses paid

We are looking for someone who has:

A passion for teaching and enabling children to meet their full potential, while inspiring and engaging all pupils.
Experience working with children either in 1:1, group or class situations.
Excellent adaptability skills to accompany their teaching style to suit the relevant year group.
Excellent behaviour management and organisation skills.
The ability to build quick relationships with children and colleagues along with having confidence in their own teaching ability.
Provide a fun and safe learning environment for all children
Provide excellent customer service to both schools and parents.
