Accounts Assistant - Walsall - Temp to Perm - Excellent Opportunity, START ASAP

Our client
A West Midlands based service business is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team.

The Role
This is a varied role in which you'll do some profit & loss account work. You will need to have a good understanding of how to put the P&L together, with a small amount of stock work (you will not be responsible for stock management)

Duties will also include:

  • Putting together the P&L
  • Some credit control
  • Tracking orders through the full journey (receive order, admin, purchase order, P&L etc)
  • General filing (scanning/uploading documents)

What we are looking for:


  • A passion to succeed and progress
  • Experience is not required
  • Desirable (not essential) experience with Xero
  • An understanding of accounts (Degree/AAT/QBE)
  • A logical thinker with Excel knowledge

  • Generous hourly rate of £14.7 3 months temp and then permanent
