Production Manager

Cheltenham

£35,000 - £40,00 Per Annum
Our well-established client are looking for a Production Manager to join their growing team based in Cheltenham

Roles and Responsibilities:

Effectively manage, develop and lead the production team through regular reviews, feedback and performance management
Liaising with workshop & engineering
Facilitate the buying of materials
Create and deliver a production strategy to ensure continuous improvement
Responsible for production planning and end to end manufacturing process
Develop an efficient and effective production area in line with key business performance indicators
Attend sales/production meetings to gain information on current demands and new orders
Become familiar with each stage of the process sales, purchasing, fabrication, paint, assembly, stock and dispatch and to improve how each area works together including the flow of information
Maintain quality standards
Ensure detailed communications internally to enable competent liaison with the customers
Experience in production planning
Have a background in Engineering
Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods
