As a Resourcing Advisor, you will play a crucial role in understanding our key resourcing requirements and developing effective attraction and selection strategies.

You will have the opportunity to support the development of internal and external recruitment campaigns, with a focus on difficult-to-recruit roles, bulk campaigns, and key priorities for resourcing.


This is not your ordinary recruitment role - we are looking for someone who can think creatively and develop innovative strategies to meet our resourcing needs.

You will have the chance to manage senior campaigns, update landing pages, provide specialist advice, and deliver innovative solutions to enhance overall the resourcing capability.

Your expertise and industry knowledge will be crucial in proposing suitable routes to market, including external and social media channels.


But that's not all - as a Resourcing Advisor, you will have the chance to build and nurture relationships with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), expanding our talent networks and opening new avenues for recruitment.

You'll also be instrumental in promoting our organization and attracting top talent by organizing and attending recruitment fairs.

Having a pivotal role in maximizing the success of our apprenticeship program by supporting the Apprenticeship Scheme Manager with activities linked to the recruitment, onboarding, and management of apprentices.


Person specification:


Responsibilities:


  • Support the development of internal and external recruitment campaigns, focusing on difficult to recruit roles, bulk campaigns and key priorities for MGS.
  • Lead on the ongoing relationship with DWP, supporting the recruitment line managers in developing and nurturing these networks.
  • Strategically organise and attend recruitment fairs to promote recruitment and to promote the MGS organisation.
  • To maximise the success of the apprenticeship programme in MGS. you will support the MGS Apprenticeship Scheme Manager with activities linked to the recruitment, onboarding and management of MGS apprentices.
  • Managing and updating landing pages for the MGS.
  • Visit MGS Sites in order to understand the requirements and challenges being faced.
  • Provide specialist and technical attraction, process and policy advice as an SME for MGS Resourcing.
  • Use expertise and industry knowledge to deliver innovative solutions to improve overall capability of MGS resourcing.
  • Use professional judgement to propose suitable routes to market, including external and social media.
  • Influence, negotiate and communicate with stakeholders across all levels of DIO/MGS.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Civil Service Recruitment Principles knowledge
  • CIPD or similar recruitment qualification
