fdu is recruiting a Financial Analyst to support the growth of a PE backed client as part of their expansion strategy.

Our client is a private equity backed business entering the next phase of their growth / evolution. To enhance their commercial finance capabilities, they need support from a Financial Analyst.

Possible responsibilities:

Supporting the budgeting, forecasting and business planning process. Helping to establish appropriate inputs/outputs, timetables, and necessary levels of analysis to clearly 'tell the story', to enable informed decisions to be made by the business.
Supporting the CFO and FD.
Financial modelling and analysis. Helping to build and maintain cash flow and reporting models for the business to analyse shareholder returns. Modelling may support the day to day, month to month and year on year but may also touch on acquisition data.

Your profile:

Academically strong. A Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Well trained in accounting, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles (not all necessary).
You may be currently employed in the FP&A function of a large business but feel restricted / frustrated by the level of bureaucracy and want to work in more entrepreneurial environment.
Financial modelling experience, the ability to build financial models in Excel (experience with Power BI, SQL or Tableau would be valued).
Process improvement.
Exposure to Corporate Finance i.e., having been employed in the Transaction Services arm of a Consultancy / involved in Corporate Finance activity would be of value but not essential.

Our client operates a hybrid working model: 3 days per week in their Central London office.
