EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years' experience
  • Experience in developing and managing staff
  • Experience working in a large, complex financial environment
  • SAP or similar ERP System
T**HE ROLE
**This fast-paced finance team are looking for a qualified dynamic and hard-working Finance Manager to join them. The purpose of the role will be to manage the reporting and compliance, this will include audits, group submissions and statutory reporting.
You will also provide leadership to a team of 1 or more.


DAILY DUTIES

  • Production of monthly management accounts, financial reports and other required reports within Company guidelines
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations to be reviewed timely into Blackline
  • Oversight of the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Provide support to the VAT manager to ensure full tax compliance
  • Support external auditors with yearend audit and interim audits
  • Responsible for ensuring the GRIR accountant is appropriately managed with no aged balance left unresolved
  • Review and timely submission of weekly cash flow charts
  • Preparation and submission of the annual BS budget whilst supporting the budgeting of the P&L process
  • Responsibility of assets in construction to ensure these are timely capitalised including regular meetings with the team are in place to review
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Manage Stakeholders expectations
  • Manage a team of qualified accountants and responsible for their development and training
  • Support the Senior Accounting Manager with finance projects and adhoc requests
  • Participation in M&A activity when required
  • Participation of design reviews, integrated walkthroughs and user acceptance tests of Pathways
