This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.

This is a fixed term post for 2 years.

Stoke on Trent's Highways Team is at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing local infrastructure.


We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Apprentice, contributing to the implementation of new Artificial Intelligent software for data collection on our network and actively promoting our team's achievements through social media and newsletters.

You will assist in the implementation and maintenance of new AI software for efficient data collection and management.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data entries to enhance the effectiveness of the AI system.

Collaborate with team members to streamline data processes and contribute to ongoing improvements.


You will also manage and update the Highways Team's social media accounts, sharing regular updates on projects, achievements, and community initiatives.

Contribute to the development and distribution of engaging newsletters to promote transparency and community awareness.

Work closely with team members to gather content, stories, and achievements for communication materials.


You will help with consultation, communication and liaison with clients and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including members of the public and elected Members to facilitate project delivery and maintain a positive company reputation.
