Assistant Manager (Management Accounting) - Hybrid from Reading - Circa £55,000 + Benefits


Wade Macdonald are working with a fantastic organisation based in Reading town centre, with the recruitment of Team Leaders within their Finance function.


Reporting directly to a Senior Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering a professional service to a portfolio of clients
  • Ownership of accounting output
  • Managing the workflow of the team on a day to day basis
  • Maintaining a high standard of service and keeping close liaisons with clientele
  • Managing the effectiveness of accounting technical resources
  • Managing team billing
  • Manage, motivate and develop staff

Qualifications / Skills and qualifications required:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Multi discipline awareness
  • Business risk aware
  • Client service orientated
  • Strong people and team management skills, especially to develop people by motivating and coaching
  • Capable of managing a small team
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Willingness to build relationships and to influence positively at all levels
  • Able to use own initiative and identify issues
