About the Role

Contract Type:
Part Time, Term Time

Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays for Fixtures. 28 Hours a Week

Summer Term

Your main responsibilities will include:

Working effectively as a member of the PE Department, to improve the quality of teaching, coaching, and learning.
Assisting in various day to day administration duties within the department, including organising fixtures in liaison with the Director of Sport.
Taking responsibility for the coaching of girls' sports teams in each term. A specialism in Netball would be advantageous.
Independently teaching pupils during Games afternoons.
Teaching, coaching, leading, and supervising the extracurricular programme for the department in liaison with the Director of Sport.
First Aid cover two mornings a week

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

Relevant teaching/coaching experience.
Coaching or playing experience in any two or more of Hockey, Netball, Tennis, Cricket, or Rounders.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Personal Qualities

We are also looking for someone who is:

Able to inspire, motivate and support pupils and colleagues.
Highly organised, having the ability to work in a selfdirected manner.
Excellent problemsolving skills.
Excellent organisation and administrative skills.
