Main Duties

• To drive Company vehicles up to qualification level in appropriate and responsible manner.
• To carry out day to day operative work as instructed by line Management.

Key Activities

• To pack and move personal and commercial effects in a safe and secure manner
• To stack and pack furniture on vehicles (or containers) in appropriate manner
• Ensure effects are sufficiently protected at all times whilst in the process of moving
• Keep work areas (i.e. vehicles and warehouse) clean and tidy at all times
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean

Expected outputs & standards

• Move clients personal effects in a professional manner using appropriate tools and equipment
• Communicate with client in a customer focussed manner projecting a professional company image at all times
• Wear PPE and appropriate corporate workwear at all times and carry ID badge
• Carry out vehicle DVSA required inspections
• Records and comply with DVSA driving regulations
• Complete timesheets accurately
• Fully complete organisational paperwork
• Communicate effectively with management in relation to work

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£12.62-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
