Finance Assistant responsibilities include:


  • Chasing outstanding payments to maximise cash collection
  • Process and match supplier invoices
  • Assist with the preparation of the weekly BACS run
  • Assist with the month end processes
  • Setting up new customer accounts including credit checking
  • Successfully resolve outstanding queries
  • Reconcile bank, customer accounts and supplier statements
  • Liaise with debt collection agencies when required
  • Processing and allocating receipts
  • Previous experience in a office background with a passion for finance
  • Keen eye for detail and excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Must be IT literate including in Excel
