We have an exciting opportunity for a Highly Specialist Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, Band 8a, with experience of working with psychosis in adult mental health settings to join our new Rehabilitation Service Pathway.

We recently opened a new Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, based at the Chase Farm Hospital site, however we are now also have a 'step-down' community home for people who are ready to move from this Unit while still requiring some further work to improve their recovery.

The Community Home offers a multi-disciplinary specialist rehabilitation service for people recovering from and coping with varying degrees of psychosis.

It will form an integral part of the local adult mental health care pathway, working in partnership with key stakeholders.

The 'step-down' home will provide a range of skills based and social inclusion oriented interventions aimed at enabling individuals to regain functioning in key aspects of their lives and to manage their physical and mental health needs.

Individual residents will be supported to develop skills and confidence to face the challenges of stigma and (re) integrate into their local communities and where possible to rebuild family and social networks.
