Summary of Role:


As an experienced solutions provider we manage a range of projects for our clients, from traditional control and automation programs through to small "proof of value" projects as well as digital change programs.

Working within the digital team of Service and Support your primary role will be the successful delivery of AVEVA OSIsoft projects.

Using your experience and technical skills advise, design, implement and commission solutions based on this core technology.

Additionally, expanding technical delivery into other areas of the AVEVA portfolio including Unified Operations Centre (UOC), PI Vision, Asset Performance Management (APM) and Asset Information Management (AIM).


Working within a diverse engineering group you will be expected to work as a productive team member, supporting others in your peer group to ensure the team succeeds and grows together.

You will be a strong communicator who is able to clearly articulate technical challenges to both internal team members and client stakeholders.

Experience of architecting AVEVA OSIsoft solutions will be beneficial but not essential.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Successful delivery of AVEVA OSIsoft PI solutions that are developed and configured according to best practice.
  • Working on solely or teambased projects in a collaborative and supportive manner.
  • Completing activities and tasks to agreed timescales.
  • Confidently articulate technical challenges to internal staff members and client stakeholders.
  • Successfully mentoring junior engineers.
  • Be adaptable and comfortable delivering projects in either V-Model or Agile Scrum

Key Technologies:


  • AVEVA OSIsoft PI including PI Vision, PI AF, PI Analytics, PI Interfacing approaches, PI Data Archive, PI Security
  • Unified Operations Center (UOC) preferred but not essential.
  • Asset Performance Management (APM) preferred but not essential.
  • Solid understanding of Software Development concepts.
  • Good technical understanding of networks and related hardware and software.
  • Good technical understanding of network security.
  • Good technical understanding of Windows based operating systems.
  • Successfully completed technical degree (bachelor, Master, Diploma) or a comparable qualification.
  • Proven skills in developing and configuring AVEVA OSI PI solutions with a minimum of 3 yearsexperience.
  • Demonstratable understanding of the core fundamentals of the AVEVA OSIsoft PI technology.
  • Excellent communication and team skills.
  • Structured and analytical way of working.
  • Confident appearance in an international environment.
  • Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise work accordingly.
  • Full drivers licence and willingness to travel.
