We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to be a part of our integral team at Palace Barracks, Holywood, BT18 9RN

What you'll be doing:

Required to be flexible according to business requirements.

The daily focus may vary however, it is expected that activities will typically include the following:

Serve food and alcoholic/nonalcoholic beverages to customers following prescribed methods of portioning, presentation
Operating the till and cash handling
Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services including hot and cold offers
Take delivery and restock goods and ensure appropriate displays merchandised correctly
Carry out stock rotation and assist with stock checks as required
Clean back of house and front of house service areas to support delivery of services
Preparation of any other public facing areas as required including set up for hospitality events
Support the delivery of evening hospitality events

Experience:

Food hygiene and Health and Safety level 2.. or willing to obtain via our e learning system
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
