Description
We are looking to recruit a person to join our dynamic Occupational Therapy Team.

From our hub base within Murray Royal Hospital, we provide occupational therapy within both inpatient and community settings, and work flexibly to provide an equitable service covering all localities within the Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership.

We provide specialist occupational therapy to older adults with mental illness, including dementia.

Our practice is holistic in its person centred approach when working with people who often have co morbidities and complex mental health, cognitive and physical health needs.

We focus on rehabilitation, recovery and empowerment, helping people to achieve the best possible outcomes through collaboration and carer involvement.

You will be required to carry out assessment, treatment / interventions as part of a rehabilitation programme under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.

You must have experience of working in a health or social care setting or equivalent level or above. Education to SVQ level IV, an HNC in Occupational Therapy or equivalent would be advantageous


Perth and Kinross OT service provides excellent formal and informal supervision and supports individual development and innovative practice through performance development reviews and learning plans.


You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Hours of work are: 37.5 Hours
