Salary:
Base salary: £25,050pa to c.£31,300pa depending on skills and experience.

As a Project Coordinator at HS2 you will provide project coordination to the Hybrid Bill Project Controls team and the Hybrid Bill Delivery Directorate to achieve Royal Assent of the Phase 2b Western leg Hybrid Bill.


The role will support and work across all project controls functions with an emphasis of working at pace, delivering quality and timely outputs.


About the role:


  • Reporting
  • Using Power Bi and MS Excel, support the Business Information Reporting and Planning Manager in the development of the Hybrid Bill monthly report and other routine reports to enable effective decision making.
  • Risk Management using Xactium work with the Business Information Reporting and Planning Manager to identify and analyse project risks, including providing support in the development of contingency plans through appropriate risk management/mitigation strategies.
  • Planning using Primavera P6, monitor, analyse and advise on the project schedule and milestones where appropriate.
  • Cost Management using PRISM, provide support to the team Cost Manager to manage the overall Hybrid Bill budget to ensure it remains in line with the associated HS2 financial KPI.
  • Change Management using CCT, provide support to the team Change Manager with Hybrid Bill programme change control and governance activities.
  • Information management assimilate, analyse and present complex information to the project team, where required.
  • Assist with maintaining the Select Committee running order, produce daily statistics and conduct weekly reviews to maintain the programme.
  • Update and maintain team and Directorate records on SharePoint to ensure ease of access and effective functioning of the Directorate and collective team.
  • Maintain continuous support for Project Controls team on administrative services and processes and identify enhancements to continually improve the functioning of the team and Hybrid Bill Delivery Directorate.
  • Actively promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work, and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.
