About you


Although it would be beneficial to have some experience of healthcare work, it isn't absolutely necessary as we provide full training.

As long as you're passionate, hard-working and empathetic, you'll fit right in.


Driving and car use is essential.
Experience preferable but not essential, full training will be provided.

Support Worker
A Star Support Services are seeking Support Workers to support adults who may have emotional, behavioural and social difficulties.

This role requires care and passion, reliability, sympathetic towards clients, to promote independence, to be non-judgemental, to have charisma and to give the best quality of care for our clients.


The Role is a 24 hour service, weekdays and weekends, including sleep ins and waking nights, shift and rota base, in a supported living accommodation or in their own homes.


Required to work every other weekend unless prior arrangements are made.

In the areas from Abergele to Llandudno and surrounding areas, such as Deagnwy and Betwys-y-Coed
28 days holiday including bank holidays. Double pay for bank holiday work.

Competitive rates of pay above national living wage.

From £11.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday

Shift:

  • Day shift
  • Night shift
  • Overnight shift

COVID-19 considerations:
LTF tests and full PPE provided.
Risk assessments updated regularly to follow government guidelines.


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Conwy: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Support worker: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
