Applications are invited for the post of Senior Medical Secretary within the Women's Directorate (Central).

We are looking for an experienced medical secretary, who can work well as part of a team and on their own initiative.

The role is over three days per week (Monday to Wednesday).


The post holder will facilitate the delivery of an efficient and effective administrative and clerical service; providing management and co-ordination of the Gynaecology RTT patient pathways under the designated consultant teams.

The post holder will also be responsible for the co-ordination of the Consultant team's antenatal patients (specifically the referral/ investigations / results / appointments / follow up counselling or gynaecology appointments for patients seen within the high risk or medical disorder Obstetric clinics in Ysbyty Glan Clwyd).

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
