Airside Safety Improvement Officer - London, United Kingdom - Heathrow
Description
As an Airside Safety Improvement Officer you will be part of the Airside Standards & Assurance team, to identify, develop and deliver the safety improvement initiatives as defined by the Safety Improvement Team.
Your role will involve:
- Supporting and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders utilising existing forums (including but not restricted to: Below Wing AUC, Ramp Working Group, Driver Standards Working Group, GHOST) and the creation of new forums where appropriate.
- Supporting a measurable reduction in airfield road traffic collisions through the implementation of the improvement activities.
- Responsible for delivery of key workstreams as identified by the Airside Safety Improvement Manager.
- Providing accurate reporting information arising from RTC events and near misses to enable the development of proactive improvement plans.
- Producing comprehensive communication materials.
- Supporting the delivery of the Airside Safety Weeks where appropriate.
These skills are essential:
- Holds a valid UK driving licence with the ability to hold an airside driving permit.
- Strong organisational skills, with ability to formulate clear and concise documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Proven experience of stakeholder engagement in complex environments.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Knowledge of how Airside Operations operate.
