Occupational Therapist - Band 5
NonStop Consulting are looking for an Band 5 Occupational Therapist to work with a Local Authority. You will be providing Occupational Therapy services to mainstream and special schools for children and young people. Age ranges from 0-18 years.

Competitive salary -£32,418-£35,751

Contract - open to permanent and locum

Responsibilitieswill include -

To ensure that all children and families receive appropriate and timely therapeutic and preventative interventions that aim to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
Working with adults who are parents/carers, the needs of their children are assessed to ensure that appropriate services are delivered to these children and families.
Ability to manage time and caseload effectively on an independent basis.
Ability to assess classroom and whole school situations.
Knowledge of Occupational Therapy for children.
Supporting patients, families and carers.
Provision of second opinions and consultation.
Assessment and management of communication problems in children.
Member of Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT)
