Description

International supplier to the retail market, based in Leeds, currently requires an ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified Finance Business Partner to join their account's function.

The business has seen a huge increase in demand in the last 18 months, mainly supportedby their online presence. As such, this role has been created to support their continued development.

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will take a lead role in the culmination of the organisations group accounting procedures.

Working directly with the Financial Controller as well as other senior stake holders (including PE investors) across the business you will have the opportunity to help shape and drive key process and projects within this rapidly growing and dynamic business.

Working directly with the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and reviewing reports, commentaries, financial statements, forecasts and budgets for the various divisions
  • Working towards financial objectives by highlighting any risks and potential opportunities through regular performance updates and meetings
  • Review weekly performance reporting commentaries on key drivers for variances, so the business can maximise the potential opportunities for sales growth and increased profitability
  • Liaising with senior board members and managerial staff, ensuring finance processes are running smoothly highlighting both risks and opportunities to generate value
  • Support commercial decisionmaking process via effective analysis, insight and financial modelling as well as analysis and insights from outcomes of past decisions
  • Supply detailed updates on year end forecasts on a monthly basis.
  • Taking part and developing major projects
  • Liaise with senior stake holders across sales, marketing and IT presenting financial information to none finance areas
  • Ideally, Hold an accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Ability to use excel to an advanced level
  • Strong relationship building with both internal and external stakeholders

Ideally you will be a qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with the ability to demonstrate strong career achievements to date within management accountant/financial accountant/FP & A position.
