What you'll be doing - the overview

As one of our Warehouse Assistants, you'll be a part of a multi-skilled distribution centre team, working on daily tasks that include the unloading and loading of stock on awaiting vehicles, processing stock through the goods-in process, replenishing inventory onto shelves, order picking, barcode reading, courier label printing, the packing of goods to the relevant customers' requirements and inventory counting.

In this role, you need to be able to action all the above accurately and in line with the performance indicators set by the Warehouse Management team.

What you'll be doing - the detail

• Unloading of loose loaded containers
• Assist with the 'Goods In' verification of stocks against 'Goods Received Notes'
• Replenishment of incoming goods onto relevant picking shelves throughout the warehouse
• Accurate picking of wholesale and ecommerce orders
• Outbound order scanning and preparation
• Printing of courier labels cross referencing the address to the despatch
• Order packing either by hand or using company machines/equipment
• Processing returns and putaway
• Processing of bespoke accounts i.e., Shop Direct, JDW, NEXT and JLP
• Cycle Counting
• Efficient working knowledge of WMS
• Abiding by the Company's Health and Safety Rules in everything you do
