Our client is a global manufacturing company and due to recent promotion, are looking to recruit an experienced accounting professional, who will join the company to support the Financial Controller with a wide range of responsibilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a degree-educated individual, who has a couple of years' experience in a management accounting role, to join a progressive organisation.
There are excellent career prospects here, as well as support with ongoing accounting qualifications.Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance to all financial procedures.
- Develop, execute, and control internal finance procedures including spending authorisation in accordance with Group procedures and policies.
- Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia finance related procedures (product flow, inventory, routings) and internal control basics.
- Participate in financial forecasting processes, providing data for budget, periodic forecasting.
- Collect and manage data consolidation and reporting, ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency, and delay compliance.
- Update information into the ERP System.
- Ensure reliability of standard costing.
- Contribute to controlling analysis including variance analysis/standard costs, margin/programs, plant budgetary control.
- Collaborate with Shared Service Centre obtaining/providing proper finance information.
- Contribute to the control and management of the plant's operating cashflow (capex, inventories, overdues).
Key Skills & Experience:
- Relevant degree in accounting/finance/business management
- Previous experience in a management accounting/assistant management accounting role.
- Previous experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing organisation, in a finance/accounting position.
- Very good general IT skills (MS Office)
- Solid accounting experience (ideally working towards a professional qualification).
- Very good general communication skills and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Additional Information:
- This is a full time, permanent, onsite role, 8am 4:45pm (Monday
- Thursday, 8am 2:30pm (Fridays).
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
