Accounts Assistant

Contract Type:
Permanent - 9:00am - 4:30pm

5 days a week

£23,000 to £26,000 dependant on experience


The Role:

Our client is currently looking for an accounts assistant to join their finance team. Responsibilities shall include;

  • Working within the Sales Ledger to prepare invoices.
  • Credit control.
  • Adding new customers to the system with credit checking systems.
  • Liaising with customers and the sales team to provide the best service.
  • Ensuring money in is assigned to correct customers.
  • Reconciling nominal ledger.
  • Assisting with Month-End & Year-End procedures.
  • Assisting the purchase ledger department.
  • Adhoc duties within the accounts/administration department.

The Person:


  • Ability to work well within a team, as well as independently.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organisation skills
  • Experience using Sage 50 and Excel

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
