Puro Accountancy are delighted to be supporting a growing accountancy practice in Staffordshire in their search for a Semi-Senior Accountant.

The reason for the role becoming available is continued growth of the business. This is a great opportunity for a hard-working and motivated individual who wants to progress in their career

The Role

Management accounts preparation on a diverse portfolio of clients
VAT returns
Dealing primarily with owner managed businesses including sole traders, companies, and partnerships
Accounts and Financial statements preparation
Client record processing
Dealing with basic client queries

You

AAT qualified or part way through your ACCA studies
Have at least 3 years' experience in a UK Accountancy Practice
Good IT skills. Knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH desirable
Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills
Flexible approach and ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team
