_ About the Partnerships team_
The Partnerships team is responsible for managing the third-party data & technology vendor relationships across GroupM UK.

The team is responsible for ensuring that our agencies have access to the best ad technology and data solutions, with best in market commercial terms and contract conditions.

This includes ensuring we deliver the optimum supply chain to support our GroupM Product and Services.


Through a combination of marketplace reviews, RFIs, and live-environment testing, the Partnerships team assess third party vendors' suitability for use by our agencies, and for our Products and Services.

Using the size and buying power of the combined group, Partnerships then drive cost effective commercial agreements to deliver maximum value for our clients, and/or reduce business costs.

Business and operational relationships of vendors are then managed by the Partnerships team where appropriate.

Currently, the Partnerships team manages in excess of 150 partners and is responsible for approximately £35m of expenditure annually.


_ Responsibilities_


This will include monitoring financial expenditure of vendors, reconciling with booking / billing systems, and liaising with finance teams and agency operations teams to ensure that the commercial operations are flawless.

Although this is not a finance-based role, the Partnerships Executive will be responsible, where applicable, for Stakeholder financial management ensuring a smooth operation of internal recharges and associated approvals.

The Partnerships team sits very much at the intersection of our data & technology, commercial, financial and legal teams. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to develop a balanced mix of technical, commercial and business skills.


Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Operational management of vendor relationships through liaison with key stakeholders.
  • Ownership of the financial integrity of vendor relationships through finance billing, invoice process management and reconciliation monitoring.
  • Supporting the Partnership team with market evaluation, technology reviews and vendor testing.
  • New Supplier Set up processing.
  • Creation of quarterly expenditure reports for senior leadership.
  • Support the wider Technology and Data team with client or agency requests relevant to their role.
  • Manage budget with finance for Group licensed costs and reforecasting
  • Creation and management of contract negotiation timetables.
  • Supporting the team on new projects and business concept development.
  • Carrying out research on technology and data vendors.
  • Gathering requirements from end users and comparing to existing technology.
  • Maintenance of an accessible Suppliers List document/portal.
  • Send/Receive and collation of RFI/RFP questionnaires and responses.
  • Upon contract review training, support first pass contract review and markup.
