One of the world's largest and most well-known cable manufacturers is looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager to build and manage relationships with B2B customers across the North of England.

The company you'll be joining are dominant in their sector and employ over 29,000 people across 50+ countries.

Each year they manufacture thousands of miles of underground and submarine cables and systems for power transmission and distribution, as well asmedium and low voltage cables for the construction and infrastructure sectors.

They also produce a comprehensive range of optical fibres, copper cables and connectivity systems for voice, video and data transmission for the telecommunications sector.


Role Responsibilities

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be:

  • Developing and driving UK sales through the electrical wholesale market, which includes Contractors and Specifiers.
  • Working remotely and travelling to meet customers throughout the North of England
  • Ensuring the achievement of set targets and objectives
  • Reporting to the Commercial Manager

Requirements:

To be successful in this Area Sales Manager role, you should be:

  • An excellent communicator with proven sales experience in a technical oriented environment (experience within electrical wholesale, distribution or manufacturing industries is preferable)
  • An innovative thinker with the commercial instincts to develop and implement dynamic sales strategies through effective, targeted channel management
  • Able to build lasting and influential relationships
  • In possession of a full UK driving licence
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office
  • Ideally educated to degree level
