Talentedge are actively recruiting for a prestigous production company based in the West End of London for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing finance team paying £32-37k per annum.

The role is 100% office based and will be working in a buoyant, fastpaced and exciting team based environment.

Role responsibilities include:

Bank Reconciliations
Maintenance of AP/AP invoices, queries and inbox
Overhead postings including wages and intercompany,
Maintenance of balance sheet schedules and reconciliations.
Responsible for managing petty cash reconciliations
Processing journals
Responsible for managing credit card reconciliations
Assist with weekly & Daily BACS
Variance Analysis.
Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT return to group, including resolving any VAT queries
Assisting interim and yearend audit.
Finance point of contact, providing financial support to the business.
Other adhoc duties as and when required

Suitable Applicants must have's:

Excellent with numbers
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Demonstrable accounting experience
Expert working knowledge of Excel

- v look ups, pivots and sum ifs

Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines
A strong interest in TV and film production
Minimum 12 months in Accounts Assistant or previous Assistant Accountant role required. Production experience in media production ideal.
