Manchester Met's Development & Alumni Relations office is now seeking a Donor and Stakeholder Relations Officer who will play an important role in the development and delivery of a comprehensive stewardship programme, which will continue to strengthen and deepen our relationships with current and prospective donors, stakeholders, and alumni volunteers.


The role


The Donor and Stakeholder Relations Officer will develop, implement, and manage a stewardship programme that strengthens engagement with donors at every level to grow philanthropic income and support of the University.


Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy the post-holder will help deliver activities that will enhance the University's relationship with its supporters, share the impact of philanthropic support, both internally and externally, and encourage donor loyalty and repeat giving.


The post holder will be responsible for producing compelling communication materials for donors and volunteers that will demonstrate and creatively convey the impact of giving to the University.

You will have professional fundraising experience with demonstrated success in donor cultivation and stewardship of donor relationships.


You will have the ability to create, execute and oversee a comprehensive donor acknowledgment and stewardship plan, including assisting on complex and carefully orchestrated events.

You will also be able to generate creative solutions and think strategically about donor recognition demonstrating excellent written skills to engage a diverse audience.


You must have experience of providing excellent customer service and of being a highly organised individual with the ability to prioritise workload, reach decisions quickly and work effectively in a busy environment.
