*Head chef, Restaurant, Salary £36,000 & £42,000 p.a + Tips, Central Bath*Chefshare is working with our client to source a passionate and experienced chef to join the team in their wonderful long-standing restaurant located in central Bath.

*The Package:

Head chef position.
Salary between £36,000 & £42,000 per annum.
Tips.
Overtime pay.
Monthly pay.
Pension scheme.
28 days annual leave.
Mix of splits and straights, negotiation available.

*Requirements for the role: - Previous experience as Sous chef or Head chef.

Experience with Greek or European cuisine.
Have a cool, calm attitude.
Work well within a team and independently.
Have a real passion for the food you create.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to manage a team whilst maintaining high moral.
Able to maintain a high GP.
Experience with costing menus.
Able to efficiently manage and run a professional kitchen.

*What is involved?

Managing the kitchen.
Maintaining health and hygiene standards.
Supervising the kitchen staff, consisting of 2 other chefs ( increasing in summer months ) and several K/P's and assistants.
Working with the FOH team to assist in the smooth running of the 55 cover restaurant, 30 cover bar area along with 35 cover outside area.
Creating exciting Greek dishes for the menu.
Working closely with senior team members to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the business.
Ensuring all stock is kept under optimum conditions.
Placing stock orders.
