As such we are seeking to recruit a dedicated part-time
Support Worker to join our Low Level Support Service team working at Citizens Advice Mid Mercia for Chesterfield/Bolsover area with the primary aim of providing short-term, targeted support (not personal care) to individuals, focusing on maintaining their independence in their own homes.


We are looking for individuals who:

  • _Have excellent communication skills _
- _Can manage own time effectively with a keen eye for detail_
- _Can monitor and maintain own standards ensuring work is accurate_
- _Have worked in a public-facing role_
- _Are experienced in working with a diverse range of people and providing a welcoming environment for clients_
- _Are in possession of a full driving licence and use of a car, or otherwise able to fulfil the travel requirements necessary_


Responsibilities / Key Tasks:

- _Interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to allow clients to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities_
- _To maintain confidentiality, use discretion and sound judgement in undertaking all areas of responsibilities_

The essentials:


  • Salary £26,203 FTE prorata
  • Hybrid Working from home and within Chesterfield/Bolsover community. Role may involve working/traveling across Derbyshire and occasionally beyond.

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 36 months


Pay:
£12,927.00 per year

Expected hours: 18.5 per week
