Description
We are searching for a confident, reliable, bright, highly organised individual, working within our fast-paced haulage distribution team.


Your primary job role will be to ensure the timely and accurate completion of administrative activities, liaising with drivers and key stakeholders and ensuring records are kept up to date.


The role is designed for someone with previous office experience, with a knowledge of the haulage industry desirable but not essential.

We want individuals who can input and analyse data to check for key trends and spot problems.

As a result you will need a keen eye for detail to ensure the company is maximising its opportunities whilst having the ability to multitask in a fast moving environment.


Duties include:


  • Checking job tickets to ensure completed correctly and maximise revenue
  • Data entry & analysis to spot trends and problems
  • Assisting with planning of drivers for shifts
  • Reviewing daily haulage sheets
  • Taking incoming & making external calls
  • Maintaining driver's records
  • Photo coping and scanning documents
  • Any other task requested by your manager
  • Start time of 5am Monday-Friday with flexibility of hours available

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Previous office based experience essential
  • Knowledge of the haulage industry desired but not essential
  • Computer skills with a strong understanding of Excel, Word and Outlook essential
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to speak to a variety of key stakeholders at many different levels
  • Numeracy and Literacy skills

Salary:
Dependant on experience
