We are currently working with a fast-growing asset manager specialising in long-only equity funds and private equity investments.

They are seeking to grow their presence in the UK wealth management market in the South West and therefore hiring an experiencedsales manager to join the team.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining and growing relationships with regional discretionary fund managers in the South west
Qualifying new prospects and understanding where the funds might fit in their investment models/portfolios.
Maintaining and building relationships with the regional wealth managers and updating them on the developments in the funds.
Meet regularly with clients and update them on the funds. At times you will also be responsible for setting up meetings for the fund management team. As the role develops you should expect this position will require on average two days travelling a weekto the UK regions.
You will be expected to maintain and update a CRM, as well as build a pipeline of opportunities converted for reporting purposes.
Represent the company at external marketing events focused on the UK wealth management market. There may be an opportunity to be involved in organising these events.

Key Strengths:

Ideally educated to a degree level
IMC holder or prepared to commit to sitting for the IMC within 6 months of assuming post
A motivated selfstarter with excellent work ethic who is also a team player
2+ years sales experience in the UK asset management market
Good understanding of investment funds
Strong presentation and communication skills
