Description

Pyroban is a worldwide company offering explosion protection solutions for the materials handling and oil and gas industries including fully engineered conversions, EX-proof products and EX components.

For 50 years, we have been at the forefront of our industry developing solutions to help us achieve our one clear purpose of keeping people safe in hazardous areas.

Due to promotion, we are recruiting for a Quality Inspector to work in our production area, covering welding and mechanical inspection.

It is essential that you have a working history in quality control/assurance and have:

Experience of conducting product inspections, visually and physical, to drawings and specifications
Inspected machined items and can measure tolerances
Carry out internal audits
Data analysis
Reporting
High attention to detail
Methodical approach
Strong communication skills.

Preferably you will also have experience of:

Quality Inspection of welding
Hold an inspection certificate
Lean Six Sigma trained to at least Green belt
Be level 3 or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or relevant Engineering experience.

The salary range for this role is £28,500 to £32,000 and we offer the following benefits:
